Introducing Dr. Joshua Ebert, Spokane Chiropractor
I still can't believe how it all happened!
I was in my early 20's and just recently married. It was an exciting time in life. New adventure and a bright new future all lay ahead. Everything was changing for the better and life as I knew it would never again be the same. There was one thing however that kept bringing me back down, my job.
I was definitely unhappy with my current job position. I would drive to work with knots in my stomach. It was sucking the life out of me daily. I knew I definitely had to look in a different direction for a more self satisfying career.
I was in a rough spot. I knew I wanted to do something else, but what? I had no vision or path that would lead me to that great job in life that we all dream of obtaining. My passions where few but strong. They went in this order: God, family, and I have always enjoyed being active, playing sports, working out, and maintaining a healthy eating lifestyle (most of the time).
With these in mind I didn't feel like I was being called to become a full time pastor. Of course I was already part of my family whether they liked it or not, (just kidding) they better like it! That leaves me with physical training, something with sports, or nutrition. To be honest I didn't have a clue what direction to take. I talked with people in all sorts of related careers and none by themselves sounded very appealing to what I was looking for, what ever that was. So, I am stuck, now what?
I only had one choice at this point, pray! I did so earnestly for about two years. I asked God repeatedly for direction and guidance towards a new career. Finally after two very long years, it finally happened.
A low-back injury (L5 disc herniation) and a life-long problem with recurring headaches landed me in a chiropractic office. Long story short: my headaches were gone within weeks and my low-back pain gradually got better with each visit.
It was in that office that I learned about the profession and what exactly chiropractic can offer. Chiropractic promotes body movement, nutrition, and with a properly running nervous system your body, for the most part can take care of itself.
Chiropractic was a perfect fit. After about seven years of schooling, 1½ years of internship and four national boards, I was finally ready to start my first practice. We started our first practice in a multi-doctor clinic on the East Coast. Although short-lived, we learned quickly about treating people effectively and helping them get better as quick as possible.
While in our first practice, my wife and I unexpectedly had a beautiful daughter named Baylee. It was then that we felt a strong desire to move back home, here in Spokane. This is where both my wife and my roots lay; both sides of our family live here in Spokane.
We are so very excited and pleased to be back here in Spokane to have the opportunity to serve our family, friends, and of course the great people of this community.
I want to thank you for taking the time to visit our site. I look forward to meeting you in person and learning how we may be of service to you. Give our office a call, or email me using the link below and let’s arrange a time to explore your options.
Have a wonderful, blessed day!
